.:New Year, New Love:.

Happy New Year of 2015!!! I thought I'd start off the year with a picture of my newest couple that you'll probably see a lot of in the future.... I mean their love isn't really THAT new, I mean they're old enough now that... they have a full grown child and could even have grandkids at this point but... IT NEW FOR ME PFFT

*Takes long deep breaths to keep feels in* This is pretty much an illustration of the day these two got "married". (basically they covered everyone and everything in flowers because they're babs, and they vowed to be lifetime partners) I just... love these two too much, I know I've probably said this a million times, but I really do. UGH I even tear up a bit thinking about their relationship and past, I'm sorry I'm a big softie, don't look at me. TwT""\ Seriously I hope there is someone out there that gushes over their babies as much as I do, hug me if you have major feels for your characters, or at least just holla it //waves from grave

For those who have noticed, yep Shark is crying... or at least just tearing up. Don't worry he's not sad, he's actually overjoyed at the moment, though happiness isn't an emotion he shows on his face... at all...... Not even Eclair knows if Shark every smiled in his life, she thinks he is physically unable to.

I've been working on this on and off through December, and started finishing it on the last day of December so... I'm totally counting this as the picture for that month on my soon-to-come art summary. I'm going to be honest, I am actually, for once, REALLY happy with the result of artwork I've made... I haven't been this happy with a piece for a long, long, long time. I probably littered it with too many highlights towards the end, but HA I love highlights a lot. The hardest thing during this process was probably rendering those flowers, flowers are a chore when you draw a lot of them in one picture. :'3TL


But yeeah, OH I want to give a big shout out to those who posted in my poll about motivation for art/designs!!! It really helped to see how you guys keep inspired and creating things as well as advice a few of you gave me-- it helped tremendously, I seriously cannot thank you enough! ;U; I hope whoever else looked at it also got some help from the comments in the poll too, especially for those in art blocks!

Anywho uh I think that's it for this strange description... wait... NO I almost forgot!
Have some random tidbits about this couple (I had it written down for a while in notepad... when I was up really late, sorry for any embarrassing typos or other.. things):
*Eclair loves to ride on Shark's back when allowed (well, mostly when not allowed)
*Eclair's favorite place to kiss/nibble is Shark's nose
*Eclair loves to caress Shark's neck and chest, she has a difficult time keeping her paws off of them
*Most of the affection is started by Eclair, but Shark rarely initiate intimacy
       +When he does though, Eclair is often surprised yet overjoyed with it (she really loves being squeezed by one of Shark's surprise strong hugs, then she can touch his chest again //thrown out)
*Don't let Eclair have her paws on Shark's horn, his face will be fully red, the ultimate flustered Shark will be born
*Eclair calls Shark "Navy Seal", but every so often she'll sneak her saucy nickname she made up for him "Navy Baby", which of course leads to an intensely blushing and angry Shark
      +He really despises the nickname...
      +... a lot.
      +Eclair doesn't care of course.
